    Oooh look, another mod.....

It only bothers me in the winter time, when the sun comes up later and goes down sooner. In Texas, we barely get 3 months of winter, and 9 months of summer. The trade off to have a cooler interior is worth it.

But during Dec - Feb, I have to roll down my drivers window (sometimes), when the street isn't well lit and it's night time.

I have illegal tint on mine. I think it's 5% all the way around.

    70%?

Oh man, you crazy Canadian's make me laugh. I doubt that most of ya'll even NEED air conditioning. In Texas from mid-July to Mid-Sept the average high is 100+ F and the average low is 89 F.

I had a car with 15% on everything but the windshield. I didn't have trouble seeing unless I was backing down someone's long dark driveway.

Installed KTJO4x4 seat covers P/N TY4R-SEATCOVERS-5G-BKRD. Installation went pretty quickly once I saw the video guide. Fitment is decent, owing to the leather being not as flexible as neoprene in the Wet Okoles I'm used to in my Tacoma. At only $125 though for both rows it's nonetheless a tremendous value:

Also replaced the rear wiper, Trico 12L. It includes a snap-in peg for ramping onto the window frame in the stowed position.

Both would be dope, I just liked the idea of getting rid of any rattle from what's in there. The cover looks really clean

Rattle and clunk fixing day today. Had an annoying little tapping from under the passenger side dash. Turned out to be the piece of trim under the glove box. Wrapped the piece that fits into a little opening near the firewall and that fixed that. The clunk was somewhere under the front end and it was subtle but had been driving me crazy. Turned out that one of the bolts holding the skid plate on was loose, courtesy of my recent dealer oil change no doubt. Anyway, huge relief to find it and eliminate that clunk.

Started yesterday ... hopefully finishing today  No idea how it happened but I guess I should have switched to the metal one when I originally wanted to instead of being put in a situation where I had to. Luckily I was able to get the pos plastic one out after both tabs snapped off as that would have been a way worse situation. We only have the one vehicle so the wife was less than amused that I put it out of commission for a day or two. Here's to upgrades no matter how you get to them hahaha

It doesn’t get that dirty or it’s not visible enough to be noticed under the rack but if it did get really dirty, pressure washer or any hose fits easily between roof and rack. I’ve washed my roof probably only twice in the past 2 years
