Tires are 285/70/17 KO2s. The rims are Method Wheels but I'm not sure of the specs (other than Ø17") because they were already on the truck when I purchased it from the Toyota dealership last year.

When did you do Poison Springs? Any problems? I did this on an ATV a couple years ago and was planning to do it again this October in the 4Runner. Did you cross the Dirty Devil?

Last week. No problems, just a bumpy road but we didn't cross the river. It looked pretty low so I wouldn't expect any problems crossing.

And then Gabbs and Luning for shiny rocks. There's still a lot of water out there, I guess you noticed. I almost had a problem at the Hazen Mud Mounds.

Pic is on opposite side of valley, looking towards Mt. Lincoln. I visited both box canyons and Coyote Canyon Cabin two weeks ago. I liked it so much I came back. I still haven't made it more north than the geothermal plant. I bet I could spend a lifetime exploring that valley.

Went for a short adventure up a road I've never been on to check out a campsite I saw on a youtube video. It is in the Cahuilla Mountain Wilderness in Southern California. Didn't make it to the campsite, but ended up at a trailhead so we went for a 5 mile hike. Road was in good condition for the most part but had some decent ruts and bumps etc. Went through one large puddle where I crossed my fingers and drove through (going and coming back). It was too big to get out and check, but didn't seem like it would be too deep to make it through (famous last words.. ha ha). Deeper than I thought it was, but got through.... although the stock Duelers were working hard.

Rained on the way back and was sliding around a bit. Tires did better than I expected.

Here's a vid of me to getting into Hell's Gate. I watched a bunch of vids before I went to Moab the first time. There are plenty showing how to get up it, but I stumbled onto only 2 vids that showed getting into it. Sorry, no vid of me getting up it. SR5, no locker.

Wow, that looks cool. Will be visiting Colorado Spring very soon. Which route or road did you take? How long was the drive? What was your start and end? Thanks

We went from San Antonio to Amarillo the first day. Then Amarillo to Colorado Springs. I think the total was 12-14 hours we took our time. There is a lot of cool roads according to my Son. The road the picture was called Gold camp Road it opened up the day before we went. It is an easy road you don’t need 4wd but it overlooks Colorado Springs. On YouTube look for off-roading Colorado Springs.
