Just turned over 100k miles on my 2014 4Runner. I have never kept a truck that long. Dealership states I need to purchase the 100k maintenance package for $400. I keep up with oil, filter and tire rotation, just had new tires and battery. Has anyone had it done and your thoughts on it. Thanks.

You posted this in the 4th gen forum, just FYI.

Do your own maintenance. The owners manual should have a chart in it, indicating what all should be done/changed at the 100k mile mark. Shouldn't be too difficult on the V6 motor. Some of it will be drivetrain stuff, as @Ripper238 posted above. Usually doesn't have to ALL be done at once, you can very well spread the maintenance out over a few months, doing a few things at a time here and there. But for sure DO the maintenance if you want the vehicle to last and not have costly repair bills later down the road.

What @xtremewlr said if you have somewhere to work and some tools. There are YT videos for pretty much anything you might need to do. There are good dealers and bad, but you're going to pay way more there than DIY or even a good independent local shop.
