Recently started to us android auto on 2022 4Runner. When listen to something other than spotify or pandora radio and you change the volume it starts playing spotify. Instead of just changing the volume does that is there a solution to this problem? (Using samsung s22 ultra)
    Thanks

You changing the volume on the phone or headunit? I have no issues with carplay either via USP connection or through the wireless dongle

If I'm using YouTube for media source and I change the volume on the head unit it will start playing spotify. I'm plug in to the car only way can use android auto.

I know this is old, but I experience the same thing. If phone is connected to android auto and I'm listening to something through car speakers on a non android auto app(Normal YouTube or chrome, for example) and I change the volume up or down, it starts playing audio from the last android auto audio app). Yes this is an odd scenario but today I could only find a particular podcast on a webpage and was playing it through chrome. Very frustrating to be unable to change the volume. (And kept subconsciously changing it when it was too low, thus changing AA audio source repeatedly)
