Agreed. Teenage girls are rampant in these parts. They of course all need wranglers with thousand rubber duckies.

Pentastar isn't good. Casting sand in the head. Oil cooler dumping oil all over the V-bank valley, EGR system...

How did Toyota manage to lose what looks like 8-10” of rear legroom space? In TFL’s video Roman struggles to get out of the back seat. The rear doors look much smaller and gave me flashbacks of my old XJ’s rear doors. Where did all of that space go? Is it all from a longer hood with a smaller motor under it? Major fail for what is/was a great family hauler.

You're talking Wrangler 4xe? It uses 17.3 kWh 400V lithium ion. Toyota's I-Force Max uses nickel metal hydride (NiMH) not nickel cadmium which is toxic.

Yes. But look at this way the space you sacrificed is helping the environment with the new engine

Oh hi you're here for the repeat shitshow?

The funny thing is Toyota managed to reduce rear legroom without even using the shock absorber seats like in the Tacoma TRD Pro.

Maybe they copied the new Frontier and added to the hood length to appear more muscular so subtracted from the back seat...

Yeah, I watched that as well, the whole cargo bed is raised vs the 5th gen, and then the rear sets fold down even higher than the already raised cargo bed. I'm going to wait and see it in person before getting too worked up about it.

I’m trying to figure out what is to be gained by the new method of folding.

Yup just like the LC250 and GX. It's a fail as far as I'm concerned, but, I don't have to buy one, so there's that.

Do you expect to drive your hybrid 50k miles a year like a taxi driver? If yes, good for you then, you will get 500k miles and 10 years out of it. The rest of us are shit out of luck. Plenty of old Priuses out there with dead batteries at 70k miles. Time and inactivity are battery's biggest enemies.

Can someone tell me if the normal 4wd 4runners (not TRD/TH) have metal skid plates? There a lack of info about anything below the Trail Hunter

Ha, I'm only teasing. No worries.

I'm guessing adding the LC250 for the US is done by either expanding the factory or adding extra shifts. No idea.

If you move the seat all the way back in my 4Runner it’s not that tight. The rear door is clearly much smaller. Look at the side view of a 5th and 6th gen.

I have watched 3 videos and twice mentioned it had more room then the 4th gen Taco . And the 4th gen Taco has the same leg room as the 3rd. How tall is Roman , might have something to do with it if he's a tall guy
