Well, whatever Toyota ends up announcing today, features, pricing, etc, I have a vehicle that does 90% of what I want. I kinda wish it got better mpg, didn't hunt for gears at highway speeds and had wireless carplay, but the reality is I'm probably not going to spend more money to get those things. Right now, I have an engine that doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil. I've owned a lot of vehicles, brand new, that couldn't say that. I'll drive anywhere at the drop of a hat knowing I'll get there and back (save for maybe flats or accidents!).

I like the shiny new objects, and just have to remind myself that life is good where I am. :) If the GX550 Overtrail had been available 3 years ago, I would have bought that hands down.

Do I sound like I'm convincing myself? You bet I am! A dose of reality is ok, but sometimes not easy to accept.

A small change like this would’ve made it a bit more recognizable.

With all the room under the hood it could have a V10 let alone a 4 banger

Maybe they have some old school Jaguar designers

100%, I love the upright windshield in my 4runner just a whole different feel.

I really hope the rear seat legroom isn't reduced, but if it's following the Tacoma this could be very possibly which is a huge letdown.

The mpg thing is all going to depend how it's driven by the owner, but most small turbo engines tend to get wise mpg or not much better then the previous generations. It's a win for the manufacturer meeting epa regs and not much to be gained by the end user.

Coping and seething? This isn't Reddit my guy. You're spreading doom and gloom for something that hasn't been revealed yet. God forbid the 6th gen is better than the previous.

Now you want pics of another man? Well this is getting weird. You work on that ego and I'll go about talking about the 6th gen.

Looks decent so I'm in for the '28 model year when it's time to trade my '23. In the meantime I'll let the early adopters overpay and work out the bugs for me.

They're actually averaging about 20% better than the previous model. ;)

Shiiiid I'm keeping my 5th gen and get the 6th gen in 2028. Right now I'm treating my 5th gen as a princess. She's one of the last of her kind; NA V6 and 5-speed and manual transfer case. When I get the 6th gen I'll use that way more often.

Who is "they?" What was the test? What tires did the EB have? 2.7, or 3.5?

Is the I4 iForce GDI? I know the V6 iForce is dual port and GDI.
