I’m waiting for the 2019s to get my 4runner. In the meantime: can the center portion of the rear seat (20%) actually fold down alone, or does it just lean forward a bit, unless the right seat cushion is lifted?

On the '18 SR5P, the seat-back folds down completely as a pass-through. The bench portion is part of the 60 in the 60/40 split, so it it fixed.

So you can have a passenger sitting on each side, with the center backrest folded all the way forward?
