    Good clean fun.

    PXL_20240406_130910170.jpg

Dropped this in today for around $250 in parts a la carte from BAM. Indicator was out of stock so I plugged it, and just swapped over my new-ish Wix. The difference in sound is rather subtle.

I still kinda want an exhaust, despite a history of installing them then modifying to reduce drone in other cars.

Next project is reworking my cargo/fridge setup for the tenth time.

@Yotaholic yes KDSS is slightly better in front (unless one removes the front sway bar on the Pro). Not sure it's enough of a difference to the naked eye if you put a pro and a kdss side by side but you would for sure see it with a measuring tape. Also hard to compare pictures of different environment which is why your screen capture of the Pro did not show any flex (hence I sent pictures of rear flex which is slightly higher that kdss but again not to the naked eye)

It’s the Cali Raised anytime kit. Integration is pretty seamless, with harnesses that splice between the stock and new. Video quality is similar to OEM.

Yes I saw it. Someone else put it here a few weeks ago before it was released and back then I was really thinking about it but after seeing wanderlust overland's video the install is a lot more involved than I expected.
Someone in your thread said they ordered it and I will attentively look at feedback from other users before I get one.
If it shows to be reliable I will most likely eventually get it as I've been wanting a proper sway bar disconnect since I got the 4R but first I want to see how it does overtime.

Hooked up a witeless CarPlay adapter and got a 3d printed MagSafe bracket off of Etsy to bring infotainment system to totally wireless. Would have cut down the cord on the charger, but don’t have soldering kit

Installed the Diode Dynamics hitch mount reverse light to augment the woefully bad stock reverse lights. Install wasn't exactly the advertised 5 minutes as the plug was a bitch to detach. Also, I found it stuck way too far out using the stock tabs so I did something a little different to mount it flush.IMG_2145.jpg

    So far I like them.

First they are cheap as shit. I got five of them with my five OEMs in trade for $550.

    No change in MPGs.

Good traction off road and consistent.

    Quiet on road.

Slight rumble as you come to a stop from the knobs but that's normal.

    Corner well on road.

    No complaints thus far!

I did a hack job and I'm frankly not proud by it, though it seems to be working. Wrapped the edge in a couple of layers of electrical tape so it's basically a very tight press fit. It isn't moving on it's own and if it ever did the tabs would probably catch it if it went past the holes in the hitch.

    HA!!! This cracked me up!!

    Your rig looks amazing!!

I figured my 2023 4Runner could be 40th Anniversary Adjacent. Love the Bronze. Got the wheels too. But, not doing the decal or the numbered glovebox emblem.

I do love me the wheels.

Your rig looks good, but yeah, if you really want to look like an imposter 40th, you have to add the glovebox badge, the 40th embossed head rests and the bronze stitching on the seats.
