    Hello guys and gals! I have owned 6 off road vehicles in the past, the past being over 65 years. So, you can guess why I chose a screen name of Ancient1. I am 85 years old and my wife is 83. Our passion has always been collecting gems and minerals and mining, which takes us to remote back country locations. We have scaled down from a 3/4 ton truck to our new 4Runner and wish that we had done it sooner. Our motivation to get the '24 4Runner was reliability and offroad chops. We have only had her for a couple of weeks and are smitten already. A few mods, nothing extreme, and we will be off to back country yet unvisited. I look forward to learning all that I can about the 4Runner from this great knowledge base.
