I agree. When I retired, I bought a '69 FJ40. Became a money pit, so I sold it. I had bought a '29 SR5 Premium that had everything I wanted and was NOT white or silver/grey. The wife gave it to me, and I bought her a RAV4 AWD. Paid cash for both, so no payments. She retired the next year, and it was likely the best choice ever. The 4Runner is great for trips and the RAV is perfect for snow around town!

We might be thinking similarly, because like you, I too paid cash for mine! Somehow it "hurts more" in my mind, so I think long and hard over the decision to buy vehicle, trim, and add ons. It is likely that if you are financing it a $25 per month payment isn't that bad, so unnecessary things get added to the vehicle. Or in general you stretch yourself a bit more.

But, mine had 17K miles and, if you figure I'm almost 74, the car will outlast me! Wife is 67, so likely outlast her also! (Her RAV had 23K on it!)

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
For me, if I was younger and still had my kids and needed a combination people mover, 4wd fun and a tow vehicle I would be all over the latest generation of Armada(Patrol). It is the ONLY Nissan I would consider buying.

Correct. (Or, else I am from the future! who can tell??? Que in "Twilight Zone" theme!)

The reliability, since it is 10 years in the
future, had been great so far! Ask me in 2020! :D:D:D:D:goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

Again, I might have never got out of the '70s.......

RTI score is between 5th gen OR with KDSS and 5th gen Pro.
