I have looked at what seems to be 100 exploded views of my 2012 4Runner motor and I can't seem to find any reference to these crush washers on the valve cover. Anyone have any idea?

I’d go to the dealership parts guy and have him/her bring up the drawing and they will tell you and probably have one.

Yup, any dealership parts department will have the schematics and tell you if it's a separate piece or part of a bigger part.

I was hoping to avoid that as our 2 local Toyota dealerships charge too much and is full of people who either don't know anything (or don't care)...thanks all, I'll post what I find out!
