Are the 5100 rears also adjustable or will I need a 1 in spacer?

I Was going to get a rough country spacer lift, but the forums have talked me out of it. So I am looking at the bilstein 5100 shock kit, the kit comes with front and rear shocks. I will be utilizing the 2.5 inch lift in the front. Are the rears also adjustable or will I need a 1 in spacer? I plan on running a 285/70r18 tire. Thanks

Rears need either springs or a spacer. Adjustment is a function of a coilover and the rear uses an independent spring instead.

Thank you! So if I wanted as close to level as I could, and I raise the front 2.5 inches, would you suggest a 1 inch speaker?

It depends on each specific vehicle but that should get you close.

Bilstein offers a 1 inch coil for the rear. I plan to get those with my 5100 setup at .85. I'll be running stock tire size though.

I used the 1" coil (stock weight) Bilstein coil and got approx 1.5 lift in the rear. If you pair that with only a .85" lift on the front, you may end up with even more rake than stock.

I installed the front 5100s at 1.75 (think that was the next setting) and rear bilstein 1" springs w 5100s. I then went through multiple steps to get rid of the lean, ultimately landed on a 10mm spacer on rear drivers side and .25" spacer on fron drivers side. I ended up with just under 2" of lift at all 4 corners.

Note that I did need UCAs to get the alignment into spec. YMMV on that.

I don't mind a little rake. Found this pic on another forum of the 5100s at .85 and the 1 inch in the back.

2” lift Bilstein 6112 w/600 lb coils front, 1.5” lift Eibach T13 coils rear, Bilstein 5100 rear shocks, TRD skidplate, TRD stainless catback w/black TRD side exhaust, TRD shifter handle, Weathertech bug deflector, 20% tint front, LED door bulbs, 285/70/17 Falken WP AT3, Energy Suspension front bumpstops, SSO Slimline Bumper w/ Badland Shackles, Durobumps 4.25” rear
interesting you needed UCAs with less than a 2” lift. Im running 6112s with 2” lift in front with stock UCAs and alignment was not an issue.

The rear lift will reduce the caster angle in the front. It was just a tiny bit out of spec on one side (just within spec on the other). It was a little twitchy on the highway. The UCAs got me to 3.5 degrees and made it much smoother.

My point was simply that the rear Bilstein 1" springs is may give you more than 1" at the rear.
It is possible you could end up with more rake than expected if you use those springs vs a spacer in the rear.

I guess the question is what was used on the 4R in the photos to attain the rear 1"...
