We bought or 4Runner new and its never been off-roading I just wanted the locking rear diff for pulling our boat out on steep slippery ramps.
I just noticed the front KDSS cylinder appears to be leaking. From what I have read getting it fixed is not that easy. Do any of you know of a Toyota dealership on Vancouver Island that has the tools and experience to fix it right the first time. I’m expecting it will be under warranty but also read that the dealerships will often try to blame the failure on the owner. Any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

    Welcome here fellow BC resident

Be absolutely sure it's leaking, first. Before investing serious dough to replace.
I have had mechanics tell me mine looks to be leaking but it's just rust proofing spray that I did.

    Goodluck
