Looks much better without the rails or roof rack. I plan to doing it again with my 23 Pro.

I really like the Predators that came on mine vs the running boards that were on my 18 TRD OR so much better. They're really for my bride, 5'4" short legs :D

New Pro wheels and Falken tires, pulled off the OEM running board that just got in the way, and stuck on Yota xPedition's quick fix to the chrome bits for fun. Roof rack next...

I never realized how much taller the 4Runner "looks" without side steps. Nice rig!

Got the Cali Raised Front, Transmission, and T-Case skids installed. I also trimmed the plastic air dam and reinstalled that to cover the radiator. Not entirely happy with it, and I need to clean it up, but, it'll do for the time being.

Have you thought about adding black lugs? They look great on those wheels. I bought the OEM short ones & they work fine on my inferno

I bought it as a deterrent, and so far...it works great! On the rare times when someone starts to tailgate me, they immediately back off and give me a wide berth after seeing that huge ass hook. If someone ever did rear end me, I'll rip open or off their front bumper, hood and radiator.

I found these covers for the rear trunk open cubbies while watching the “Vikings Garage”, thought they looked like a smart idea made in the USA by a nice young fella that could use a leg up in this old world. Thought to myself, made in the USA by an American, hell yeah, I buying that. Took all of 10 minutes to install, should’ve come with the 5th gen. Find it at Solidifi3D.IMG_1063.jpg IMG_1064.jpg IMG_1065.jpg

These covers are well thought out for sure. I had to re-print stronger tabs for mine since I snapped one off. Other than that they are awesome.

Replaced the Power Steering fluid. The hardest part was to remove the return hose. It was stuck there. I had to remove the 3 bolts to remove the reservoir just to get a better grip.
Other than that, it's a 10 minute job.
    Used Toyota ATF/ PS fluid.

Depends on the speed of the collision. The long hitch creates a lot more leverage to bend the frame. Could be the difference between an expensive repair and getting totaled.

Exactly what happened to an acquaintance. Stopped at the lights and some one rammed from the rear at enough speed . The other car took considerable damage, their radiator was completely punctured but my friends frame was also bent.

I have the new standard, non-actuated Starlink running off 12V. It turns out the dish fits nicely in the sunroof and works great there. I don't think I'd drive with it that way, but it's great when parked.
