thank you! Im glad i chose this brand. I just followed the first time burn in instructions, and it worked flawlessly. Wi-Fi connected instantly, and it was within 1° of my thermoDot thermometer for accuracy in temps. I couldn’t be happier!

Plexi Dip? Or whatever that stuff is? You can also get them powder coated. Its very reasonably priced. I paid $50 for mine to get powder coated black. Just wanted to throw that out there as paint, dips just don't hold up. In general , powder coating is not that expensive.

could you elaborate a bit more on this. Which welds specifically came off? Do you use a torque wrench or power/air gun them?

I added these new Dryva throw covers on my seats to try out. Hook on the headrest and there is a strap goes around the seats to keep in place. Great for especially in the summer when you have sun screen on and don’t want it in my Pro seats. You can roll them up and put them in your doors. Doing the test they stay on the seat getting in and out and don’t move around. Water proof. So far I like they stay in place. IMG_4943.jpg

Attached are images of the part where the welds snapped.
these threaded nuts accept an M8 bolt.
They snapped when attempting to loosen the bolts to remove the skid plates.
Another one snapped with the OEM skid installer.
I’m not sure of how the original installer torqued them down.
I have torqued down some of the ones which snapped later during removal. In all cases removal was done with a hand ratchet. And the ones I put in were also hand installed.

I know the precautions to always chase the threads with a tap, use anti-seize, and ensure that the bolts aren’t cross threaded, it was just surprising to me the 4 tiny weld points used when attaching those nuts to the frame.

1.25" Spidertrax. Any suggestions on mud flaps that work well with a BMC?

At the shop getting 4.88 and Eaton locker. Those 37s are pretty tempting :)

    I have rokblokz
    BMC, SPCs, stock wheels, bp-51 n 285/70/17 KO2s
Minimal rubbing when in full turn reverse

I did however cut a hole n use heavy duty zip to hold “back the flap” inside for a lil more room

actually looking to sell due to new direction

    EDIT
forgot the whole part bout spidertrax
    Yes I have spacers

@kojak so in my experience I deleted the OE front mud flaps all together cuz they totally rub. But perhaps brands like rokbloks w/ tie straps could slip in there for rocker protection.
@scottiezilla don't suppose you live anywhere near British Columbia haha I wouldn't mind a small front mud flap solution. You don't have spidertrax spacers though eh, how come the BMC with that stock wheel setup

I'm getting ready to prep for a month-long road trip. On Friday I'll do an oil change, propeller shaft lube, tire rotation and general inspection. I have a Valvomax oil drain ready to install and today I picked up a Badlands floor lift, because I'm tired of using the screw jack to rotate tires. I also picked up a pair of GMRS radios and got my FCC license earlier this week.

Nothing wild. Took the kids to a museum, dumped in my yearly jug of Techron and topped off the tank.

Sorry bout the distance @djwantke but I do have much to talk to you bout…Mmm some wiring cause we’re both kinda in the same stage there

    want to ditch the spacers
Just a nice reliable wheel to accommodate the tires
    Especially if I went a lil bigger/wider

    n the flaps well
    It’s a truck
Paint is fine n all but I don’t really care
Was just gonna do the delete or cut some ABS kinda stuff to shape

I copied the RokBlokz XL design using Husky P/N 17049 trim-yourself flaps: https://www.4runners.com/posts/443848/
If the lower mounting hole has been cut away during the CMC, you can always drill another hole farther back on the cab mount:

Falken Wildpeak A/T3W, All interior lights LED, Twiststep for the doggo,
Swapped out the OEM Bridgestone Duelers for a full set of new Falken Wildpeak AT3W's - LT265/70R17 E-rated. Probably the last set that I'll ever be able to get my hands on.
The gal at the post office - yep, it's not uncommon for us to order tires and have them delivered via the post - loved'em!

And - installed a Twist-step for the furry fella. Much easier on the joints for the big dogs if they don't have to make a big jump down. And it's easily removable for rougher travel. I've been using these on-and off in different rigs for the last 14+ years.

    Thanks for this dude
I feel the same about my rocker paint and rock chips. I really haven't thought twice or given a F lol the 4R looks too good to care, I can use OE touch up paint (but I have zero chips so far).

Interesting. What stage are you in for wiring

So after (1) wrong part# return and confusion by N-Fab customer support by saying that ONLY part# NFB-T1164RL ONLY is able to be installed on the LIMITED, its actually Part #T1164RL, and the front bracket can only be used with only (1) hole of the OEM from bracket. Well anyway, I got mine today and installed them..... The 4Runner Limited already has very limited selection of running boards to choose from, and these were my favorite, little bit aggressive flush, and clean....81275.jpg

Replaced the Cabin filter and Engine air filter. Used OEM. Both were in decent condition.
    Also cleaned the MAF sensor.
I do these 3 things once a year. Engine oil every 5000 miles.
However, if I travel a few thousand miles through dusty conditions , I replace the filters sooner.

Good lord... I get home from a quick trip to the gas station and as I'm sitting here looking at my 4runner and there's a crack in the rear bumper. As I left I was thinking why some pos ford ranger parked close to me, just my luck. You can't have nice things anymore. But it's and excuse to armor up.
