Tacodaco89 2014 sr5 Runner build

Purchased a new to me 2014 sr5 4wd 4Runner after my Tacoma got smashed up. Plan is to build a fairly capable andsimple off road vehicle to have fun with. So far I have Fox 2.0 shocks front and rear, Total Chaos uppers, Eibach 12% stiffer rear 1.5 lift coils and Rago Fab window panels.



Drove to Flagstaff for the weekend. Went out to Edge of the World, all fire road but a greatview at the end over looking Sedona



After getting the lift all installed in the driveway. Lift has not settled yet in the photo.

Toyo Open Country a/t 3s on today and washed

 

Installed after market skids, new pads and rotors for the rear disc brakes, front and rear diff service and transfer case service

Nice looking build. What size tires are the a/t3s? I just lifted my SR5.. Tires are next

 

Looks good. You appear to have avoided any issues with the wind fairing crossbar being too close to the roof.

 

I stayed with 265/70/17, I didn’t want to deal with full size 33s and pizza cutter 33s are more expensive than these were. They’re pretty quiet for and all terrain. I haven’t had the chance to get out on a trail yet. Maybe soon

 

Thank you. They fit pretty well, it came with a rubber bumper to help prevent whistling but I didn’t want to put it on since it would rub the roof. It doesn’t make any noise that I can hear thus far

 

Went to Copper Creek Trail in Prescott today. Was a good time first more serious trail I’ve done since upgrades started

 

No pictures but I changed spark plugs and did an oil change. Just about at 100k miles.

 

Fox Performance Elite 2.5 coilovers with reservoirs going on and Fox 2.0 coilovers coming off.
