Hello to all. I’ve had my 4Runner for almost a year now. Purchased 2023 TRD OFF ROAD PREMIUM in metallic grey, she has the TRD wheels and a Yakima cargo carrier.

I just retired and this is going to be my daily driver for everything now that the company car is gone. I’ve been a huge Toyota fan for over 20 years; owned a 2009 TRD Tacoma Pre-Runner Double Cab (best pickup I’ve ever owned) then a 2014 FJ CRUISER w/6-speed manual- also great. The 4Runner represented the best utility for my fishing and camping trips.

The only thing I’ve done so far in the 1,400 miles is Weather Tech floor mats. If someone is looking for new mats I’d sell the factory weather mats for $75 + shipping. Like brand new.

Not sure I’m going to make any changes to her; I like those spare tire carriers and maybe different rims-came with the TRD black as previously mentioned and I like those Method wheels in bronze. Not sure, those TRD wheels are not cheap. It’s great to have a Toyota in the garage again-fantastic truck, I love it!

    thanks for having me!

Welcome from SoCal! I drove Porsches for 30 years but got my '23 ORP a year ago also, intended as I transition into soon retirement, I hope, time in life to get more practical, and so far I love the 4R (which still surprises me after 30 years in Porsches).

How do you like the Weather Tech mats compared to Toyota? I've been contemplating that change myself.

Hello and thanks for the nice words! The Weather Tech mats came today and boy do they fit and feel great. The factory mats were good but these are in a different league!

Porsche is awesome. I retired from Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. as a factory rep. 14 years and 10 years prior with Toyota.

Have always wanted a 1981-1992 911 SC (air-cooled). It’d look great in the garage next to the 4RNNR!

Thanks for the info on Weather Tech, probably will do it at some point. Did you work in SoCal by any chance? My still very close friend Edward had been GM of Porsche/Audi/VW Downtown LA for a long time, maybe you knew him. In any event, congrats on retirement.

[IMG]Did not know your friend. My territory was Texas and Oklahoma. I supported 15 dealerships. Glad to be off the road and enjoying life! All the best to you.
