A few questions while awaiting delivery

Hey there!
We have a 2010 4Runner Limited with 206k miles and still runs like a top.
Unfortunately, while it was "at college" with my youngest son from 2018 to 2021, someone sat on the roof while hanging out of the moon roof. The roof closed but it will not open due to the roof being bent in. Does anyone know roughly this would cost to having an auto body shop repair?

The only non-maintenance issue we had with our 2010 was a front passenger side wheel bearing that went bad (made noise) at about 100k miles. We are going to sell the 2010 4runner to a neighbor.

We have a 2024 SE5 Premium "on the boat" awaiting delivery in Kalispell MT.

Questions on the newer 4Runners, particularly the SE5 Premium.

What type of tires have been showing up on your new SE5's? (We just have the standard 17" alum rims )

Before I can properly answer the moonroof/bent roof issue, I need this question answered: How severely did you beat the child for causing this damage?


The tires that generally show up on the SR5's are Dunlop/Dueller tires (a street tire). I think all models have 17" wheels. But some have TRD style, some are blacked out, some the 10 spoke aluminum wheels.

 

LOL! Well, he was brow-beat with the stink eye. We loaned him our 4Runner as he had to drive from Colorado Mesa University to Dayton MT during Xmas, Spring break, and summer break. He has a 2007 Jeep Sahara and it's lifted 4" with mud tires. NOT a good choice to commute back and forth!
