    Hi Everyone,

Looking for some advice on running board end caps for my 1999 4Runner SR5 4x4. I have those plastic wheel well flares and I’m not certain what fits.

I bought a pair of 3rd Gen running boards off a Limited addition and those end caps definitely don’t work.

I haven’t seen a version of my car with running boards (guess most people don’t like them ).

I’ve attached a couple pics of the boards on without end pieces and for the life of me I don’t know what would work.

Thanks for any advice as always.

You need to go back to the 4runner that you got the running boards from and get the front and back wheel trim.

Plenty of pictures online showing the different years and running boards.
