That doesn't have kdss. It has a regular sway bar with regular links, no hydraulic ram in site.

It has a regular sway bar with regular links, no hydraulic ram in site. They're all the same

Since you're looking at new models, look at the sticker. KDSS adds $2500-3000 last time I looked.

The easiest way to tell for a layman is to look at the skid plate, it looks different and hangs lower.

When I was first shopping around I had no idea. Neither did the salesmen. The easiest thing to look for is where the sway bar attached - to the spindle or to the lower control arm. With KDSS it attaches to the lower control arm.

I am the sales lady! I have a few different customers looking for it and I want to be able to help them to the best of my abilities. I'm really new to this and I want to be different than the people that say, "Oh yeah, I have what you want, come on down." Then come to find out they were full of crap. When I tell my customer I have what they want or don't, I'm going to make sure its the truth. This job post needs some honesty brought to it. Too many lie and cheat so I'm here to change the name of the game!

I bought it for it's on road manners. But days later when I crawled under the truck and saw it, and coming from the Jeep world, I immediately understood what it would do off-road. It's just a sway bar disconnect with a different mechanism.

I did not know what kdss was either when I bought my 4Runner, Sales person didn’t know either, so I thought it was an upgraded suspension package(shocks & struts). Did more research when I got home and found out it was some kind of hydraulic sway bar system.
