    Hello folks
I’m a new Toyota owner. That is, my newly acquired 1994 4 Runner is the first Toyota I’ve owned. I’m having a (mostly) enjoyable time semi-restoring this rig. The motor came out after thinking it needed a head gasket set and realized it was much more. The interior is stripped. New carpets and cleaned, well, everything and finally, for now. The brakes are down to the spindles. I would appreciate any and all your support on this build. Thanks in advance and looking forward to many discussions.

Slow and steady wins the race. Don’t bite off too much at a time. Finish the interior then proceeded to the engine and brakes. I’ve done a couple body-off restorations on old Chevy muscle cars and what I’ve found is to attack one part of the car at a time, but after the body is off and all the parts are all over the garage floor it can be overwhelming. Bag and tag all parts, then divide them into categories like; interior parts, drivetrain parts, suspension parts, body and fender parts, etc. Take your time and enjoy the ride and don’t forget to take photos to share with your bros on this forum while on your journey. Welcome to the forum Mike.

Thanks for the great welcome! And to Desertsurfers comments, you are correct especially the tag and bag. I am able to concentrate on mainly the interior and front brakes while the motor is out for overhaul. What I am finding (as most projects like this) is many little things along the way that are broke, rusted, corroded or just plain worn out and of course, now is the best time to fix it with everything taken apart. Wow that was a really long sentence, sorry.

Is there a better way of finding a specific post other than using the search bar?
Also how do you add photos to your post?
