What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Engine and gear oil changes. Mobil 1 0w20 for the engine and Redline 75w85 for the front and rear diffs.

 

I’m curious how you mounted your roofrack to your 4Runner? My 2017 doesn’t come with crossbars..

 

Not sure who you’re asking here but my 2018 didn’t come with cross bars either. I bought them from here:

They are $100 cheaper than my dealership wants for them.

 

Installed my Rago hidden brackets and the 20” KC Hilites bar last night.

Got my roof rack side rails back from being powder coated. Looks awesome!



I saw a 4Runner here and on the road today with the grey rails, with grey plastic caps. I’ve seen them with grey rails and black end caps like mine was. Didn’t know they come in grey as well

Yesterday I received the factory backup camera with factory rear bezel to install in my wife's 13' T4R. Thinking that it should be pre wired like my 10' Tacoma was, it should be plug n play, no. So, not to waste the money I paid for it, I went in search of wiring diagrams to figure out the color code to make my own harness, dead end. Do any of you know the color code? I have red, white, black, and green off the camera. I have to assume that two of those are hot and ground, one is signal, and one is video. Another question, does anyone know where I could find factory pig tail to plug in to the camera, and then to its destination under the dash? Any help would be appreciated so that my frustration level is at a minimum. Plan is to hook in to an Alpine ILX107 HU.

 

Put a coat of wax on my wife's new sled and did the state inpsection. Added carpeted floor mats, an exhaust tip and a cargo cover.

Went to my local Discount Tire, they said they’d give me $50/tire trade in credit on my Dueler 684’s - took the deal and ordered 5 General Grabber AT2’s and couldn’t be happier!

 

Haha not installed just yet, should be at the store Monday, installed Tuesday morning. I’ve done hours and hours of research to deside these are the tires for me. Of 10k annual miles maybe 200-300 are on trials so I didn’t need anything too aggressive.

Could always use a sidekick! Ha

 

Lights showed up today, hopefully Saturday I can install them
