Hi everyone. I bought a 2014 4runner last year and I didn’t check the rust thoroughly enough before purchasing. Now that I’m stuck with it, I’m trying my best to replace and repair some areas. I live in northern Ontario and rust is very common on all cars.

I was wondering if the part that is circled in red could be replaceable? I don’t know what it’s called but it seems to be mounted to the frame and the rear bumper is attached to it along with the trailer hitch. It’s already rotted and would like to know if it’s a part that I could purchase from Toyota. ThanksIMG_7492.jpg

every part of the frame has an individual part number, therefore it can be ordered and replaced. find parts diagram. or you want me to do it for you?

So that part would be mounted to #10 which is a rear frame crossmember but that’s all I can findIMG_7494.png
