    Hi all

    New owner to a 2021 4runner Off-Road 35k
    No modifications as of yet. I'm currently bouncing between an OME 3" lift($1359) which I had on my 2010 Tacoma for many years. Or a 2.5 lift using ome springs and Bilstein 6112 front and 5100 rear($1779)

    I don't want anything over 3" since anything beyond that on a 4r is just asking for trouble unless I modify it more that I'd like to.

    Currently adding a Uniden PC78ltx CB and a roof 365 mount. No roof rack yet..either.

    So many things.. but life.

    Hahaha well said, I've gone through all that outflow when I owned by 2010 Tacoma.. poor thing became a victim to the rust belt I live in.. This 4r is already dealing with the hatch rust...

    Yeah the roll-down window is a controlled leak path into the hatch. For longevity you'd want to open the interior plastic panel and spray the hatch cavity with cosmoline, but avoid the window tracks. Make sure the hatch drain holes are clear.

    The plastic garnish above the lic plate can rub through the paint. For longevity you'd unscrew the garnish and add some PPF tape locally at the rub points.

    I will have to wait for a warmer day to take the hatch cover off. I'm not itching breaking the tabs off and having it rattle until spring haha
