Uses for Carista?

Hello all. First timer here.

Found this community after googling my key fob issue, the one where it shuts off the wireless connection after changing the lock beep volume. I am willing to buy the Carista dongle just to not have to deal with the dealer again. (The first time the guy told me it wasn't covered under warranty because I changed a setting...wtf... He was new. The service manager called and apologized.)

Are there any other useful uses for Carista, for the basic user who isn't doing unnecessary repairs, besides fixing that wireless setting?

Just glad that the dealership had a rule in place that kept me from taking any work orders from her.

 

I read that as the ex wasn't good at taking advice for proper "servicing"...

It would be nice if there were a setting to turn off the "please tell me how to drive" message on the head...

Other than that, it worked well to fix the key fob issue. I also changed the lock beep to flash turn lights only and to unlock driver with one button push and unlock all with 2.

I also wish it could show the live transmission temp. Or am I just missing that?
