Did you encounter traffic from the marathon?

 

Fuck me yes ... the park is 15 min from my house ... took me almost 1.5 hrs. I somehow had missed the fact there was a marathon and every alternate route I tried was equally backed up. But it was a date day for my wife and I so I pushed on and it turned out amazing.

 

On my way to pickup pizza and caught this stellar sunset

 

Incredible photography! And wow, you have to go a long way to get pizza it seems.

I had to use ATRAC a few times otherwise relatively easy. I used the rear locker on one hill as I wanted to exercise it although Atrac would have been sufficient

rear window open while in the desert? How dusty did it get inside?

 

I’ve only opened it when I stopped in that instant to grab stuff from the back without opening the trunk but it was definitely closed while I was moving.

 

I learned that lesson the hard way.

 

I love the Superstitions! Palo verdes and ocotillos in leaf always make me happy.

As for what the lights actually are, it's is mostly Chinese Amazon crap. I can't justify spending the big $$$ on them and they work good enough for me. The only light I will spend money on is a single row on the roof rack, if I decide to ever get one. Gotta be picky about those
