I have a 1984, V8 350, TH350 auto trans, and NP205TC. Rust Free SR5, power windows and cracked sunroof. It has a 6" lift and needs rear shocks. I am not going to be doing serious off-roading and am wondering about recommendations for affordable rear shocks. It has 35" tires and has mismatched 3rd members - 411 rear and 488 front. Do you recommend a 411 or 488 to complete matching set?

For 35's you should gear up to 5.29 but 4.88 is better than 4.10

At the time, Toyota called them 1984 1/2. They went on sale in the US in May of 1984 and the 1985 model year followed in late August. I bought one in June. It was basically a pickup with a cap on it, unlike the 4Runners of today.
