Had 2018 TRD OR & Since 18-Nov-23 TRD PRO I love the differences betwen the 2!! Had 2 FJ's so I REALLY liked that roof rack as the Pro has vs the TRD line, Black Valances, wheels, Exhaust ( is NOT that loud for me personally)

Welcome from NC. I dumped a ‘22 gladiator Willy’s for my ‘24 TRD ORP and I couldn’t be happier. Much more comfortable and better built by far. Oh, I’m 72, so we’re on the same schedule apparently. :)

Hi Jack. Thanks for the reply. As a former gladiator owner, can I ask what you are doing for storage on the 4? I used the storage area under the back seat for my tow tie down straps some tools, and such, and when cleaning out to trad in I was amazed how much stuff I've accumulated in 3 years. I pull a motorcycle trailer and a boat, so all the stuff related to that activity including a electric tire pump, chocks and straps take up room. This morning while try ing to load back to the 4 I realized there really isn't much dedicated storage area... I thought there would be some under the rear cargo area but didn't see any access. Salesman also said there would be space under the back seat but not really. Looking for storage container of some sort I guess for the rear cargo area. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thank. It's growing on me.m. My first auto when first out of service was an orange volkswagon Beatle so going back to my beginnings. Ha! Ps, love riding my motorcycles through Wisconsin drift less areas

Hey Walter, sorry for the delay. I am struggling with the same issue regarding storage. I’ve got just about 1000 miles on my 4R, so I haven’t had much time to actually make decisions but I have found a solution for my purposes I think. Victory 4X4 has a nice set of molle panels and a shelf that fit in the rear of the truck, and still leaves room for dogs or whatever.
I’ll try to post their link, but if it doesn’t work, just search by Victory4X4.com

look at the rear window molle panels and the UPPER shelf. Let me know what you think. They’re pricey but made entirely in the USA.

I'll take a closer look. First impression though, is knowing myself, Id quickly make a mess of the headliner. I did see someone just recently who used a rifle transport case about 36 or 40 inches long and 7 inches deep by 10 inches wide that would I could lay flat and possibly secure to floor but still allow to be removed. Looks like a work in design process. I need storage for dirty tie downs, ball cover, and some wrenches that I carry all the time. Thanks for the reply and I'll keep you updated as to my solution.

I'm not sure if you're still looking for storage solutions for your new orange friend, but these guys are an awesome solution and couldn't be nicer to work with. Check them out when you have a minute. https://shwoffroad.com/

    Longwayhome,
A big thanks for your response. I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that I may have to go this route in the fu ure. Their cabinets look well constructed so will keep them in mind if I don't construct something myself. Many years ago I used to build cabinets as a side line so I may have to brush up on old talents to build something or just purchase something. . BTW, is the LWH in reference to the epic motorcycle journey many have viewed and/or arrempted themselves? If so, I'm a. Big fan also.

I just did the same think. Said I had the Pro, buy was off road premium. I came from a 14 year old FJ, so having to learn the differences. Gonna love your beast!
