Lane Departure alert too loud

    It is a bit much. The default navigation volume is even louder and more intrusive, but at least you can modify that.

    Another situation where I disable LDA is in construction zones where lanes shift back and forth, or where there are multiple sets of lane markings that confuse it.

    Mall crawling kit.
    Every car I drove with LDA it was unreliable and intrusive. Especially annoying were cars that shook steering wheel. So count your blessings that this can be turned off in 4Runner.
