As the title states I’m trying to make my own harness for plug and play to install 2023 bi-LED headlights into my 2014 4Runner. As a last resort I will purchase the one by FBC. Any help would be great. I’ve already made the LED DRL harness that @emacTR4 wrote up. Thank you!

    The same 4Runner everyone has
EmacTR4 harness (outlined here) will not work for your older truck. Older 5th gens (14-20) use pulse width modulation to dim the high-beam reflectors for DRL mode, then apply full +12V current for high-beam mode.

Newer trucks (2021 Pro/Limited and 2022+ all models) use a harness that arranges the halogen bulbs in series, which gives them an effective 6 volts per bulb. They are dim and only used for DRL on the new 4Runners. The LED projector is used for low-beam and then an internal shutter opens the optic for high-beam duty.
