Just picked up my runner from the shop after getting rack and pinion, lower ball joints, and 3” Eibach lift put on. Driving it today it now has a strange intermittent faint grinding noise that comes and goes. Only happens when giving it gas and does not happen all the time. Sounds like it could be coming from front end/tranny/tcase can’t really pinpoint it.

I have been having issues with the Tcase. Actuator is fried and when I replaced the actuator it would shift into 4hi and get bound up (wouldn’t shift back in to 2) I was able to get it free and back into 2 by manually turning the shift rod. Picking up a replacement case this week.

My assumption is this is something to do with the Tcase since that is a known issue. However since it started right after getting it back from the shop I wasn’t sure if it could be anything related to the work done? I’m hesitant to think it’s transmission related since I have had no issues with it so far.
