I've been around these forums going on 10 years now and don't recall seeing this addressed. When I jack up the front end using the middle point (so both sides are going up), the passenger side wheel & tire go straight up, no movement. The bottom of the driver's side tire, however, starts "scrubbing' inward. Why does that happen?

Other question is whether it's normal, in 2WD and front end up, for the driver's side tire to spin easily but the passenger side takes serious effort. I thought maybe a seized caliper but wouldn't that cause a pull to that side when driving?

Trying to track down a noise that sounds like a bearing but neither wheel has play at 12 and 6. TIA for any insight.
