    Do most 96-02 owners take off their running boards??
    See a lot of people doing that.
    Do you guys think they look better with them off or on?
    Help me out

    I just removed my running boards and hitch a couple weeks ago: '97 SR5. It was always my goal to do so, since picking up the 4Runner Sept' of 17. I LOVE the way it looks with these low hanging parts gone! I want to turn it into an expedition rig, while keeping it as stock as possible. Removing these items and adding 32" tires were the first of many steps to get to that point. The difference in appearance with these minor changes is pretty awesome!
