I think you're good. They'll do you right. Meanwhile, hide a $20 bill every two weeks.

I understand. Starting the process and making it a habit is key, but I've been there where $10 rules and habits can't be started. We certainly have to live with our priorities, and with a family staring us in the face, cameras slide back a long way. For now, you at least have an option or two to experiment with.

Yeah, for now. I'll probably get the 900 back and working, that zoom, is deff better than no zoom, or what I currently have,...and get a lil camera fund going

I will say this. I sat on my deck with my son today, and saw a juvenile eagle flying overhead while my camera was INSIDE. That's because I expected to see nothing. I failed the basics once again. And this bird was pretty close, too. Grr.

That right there, is my biggest problem, that I can't actually watch my eagles that good with out the camera, even though I don't take pics 100% off the time I'm by them, some times, it's just kind of my "binoculars" to watch them closer

With the P900, do you use the screen or viewfinder more?

99% off the time is the viewfinder, although I always keep the screen folded out same time to see it faster if I need to

With me, the viewfinder is difficult on that camera. So I use the flip-out screen most. But I miss a lot of shots that way. My Nikon DSLR has a much better viewfinder. But not the zoom.

I think the screen is harder to follow, it's not as clear, plus outside light, glare on it

Snooping around in the archives. Scans of prints from the mid 80s to early 90s. Poor quality but cool moments.

Just missed this birth, it seems.

I have posted this somewhere before. My 1984 Supra in 1985 at Glacier Park. IMO, the best color option this car came with. I know I have more pics of it somewhere...

The days of taking 30 rolls of film home after a 2-3-week vacation, and hoping you got good shots.

In 2012, all 5 of us in my 2001, pulled this U-Haul with all our stuff on a 6000-mile vacation from central Ohio to Glacier and Yellowstone and parts between. We parked the trailer where we lodged as needed, so we didn't pull it around inside the parks much. A lot of the time, one back seat was folded down and there were lots of blankets piled around. My youngest and one of his brothers would ride back there, reclined or lying down most of the time. This is how we pulled off the only family vacation we've taken. That truck averaged 18MPG on that trip, loaded down like that. I think this pic was taken in Iowa.
