    Hello all,

Sadly my 2010 limited (Avatar) was totaled early into January, and due to my budget and availability, I got a 2014 SR5 with 171,000 miles on it. The previous owner (the only owner, I might add.) definitely gave this one some "character". Basically I have to get it detailed due to the stains and a smell that is lingering in the cabin, but there is also damage to the headliner, that looks like it kind of punctured through. I'm looking at the possibility of replacing the headliner, hoping it's not too bad to do with maybe an extra set of hands helping me.

Should I replace it? Or should I just try to get it clean and leave it as is?

One option is to check with a local upholstery shop if the cost of an OEM headliner (havent checked prices, but would still be available).

Would be nice to have a second set of hands, but that rear hatch opening helps tremendously in swapping one out.

If you can get it cleaned or covered for less than $1200, you’re better off doing that. $1200+ tax and shipping is the going rate for them
