4 Feb 2024 Unknowing there is a specific build section, I posted my build mostly in the "What have you done for your 4Runner today?" section. While the build is done and I am well satisfied with the outcome (especially after living in the 4Runner between Apr-Sep 2023 while working at night and sleeping during the day comfortably in the Arizona summer heat), each adventure brings me back to the drawing board. I gotta say this is a seriously impressive build in many ways. The ingenuity, the quality, completeness of vision and execution of the vision, achieving a result many never get to. Most people might throw in a platform for sleeping, maybe a fridge. You're on another level. I appreciate you doing all this work to Index everything - you did so much that was a lot of work in and of itself to sort everything, thank you . Really amazing what you've accomplished. Thank you for sharing.

My friend's Winnebago has 200AH of lithium batteries. You have twice that. In a 4runner! I'm impressed every which way.

How do you like those Ampere Time batteries? been treating you well? I stare at them every now and then on Amazon when I try to put together a build like yours in my head or imagine upgrading an RV or trailing I might have at some point in the future.

 

Thank you for the kind words. The intent of sharing is to provide info for others looking for ideas, as I combed through 100s of ideas from others, from vehicle builds to RVs to Tiny homes, to build mine. Simply returning the favor.

I did start with 200ah and currently have 800ah. Reason: The battery bank is my only energy source, and most of it is used between dinner, sleeping (whether cold or hot), and breakfast. This period is when recharging (solar or from driving) is unavailable.

I have no complaints about Li Time (formally Ampere Time) lithium batteries. On top of that, their service to customers is incredible as well.
