Indicative of the thought and care put in… I expect no less for a vehicle awaiting a software update to enable the rear locker.

I’d guess the covers would be replaced or discarded when the time to replace the tires arrives.

 

Talked with a guy that has a Rivian R1T the other day. He informed me of many annoying problems with his truck. The main one was, when the door handles pop open all the snow get in there & they wont close...

 

The aero cover could have been designed without those pieces that sit on the tire. But now, you have to buy that special tire and that will pad the pockets of Tesla executives further. It is the way a lot of these manufacturers turn a better profit and make shareholders happy.
