I’m planning on buying a new 6 Gen 4 Runner ! Due my age and health I need a Reliable and safe vehicle to conclude my Life! Can’t wait to see it. My color choices would be as follow BRIGHY YELLOW if they ever make one I always wonder why Toyota never offer that color? Green trail Hunter or solar Orange . Thanks for this Forum. I presently own a 21 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland .

    Welcome from Northern Michigan!

No way of knowing how reliable the yet to be released 6th Gen will be, but if it's even half as reliable as the 5th Gen you should be in good shape.

I know how you feel Claude, retired, then heart surgery, then cancer surgery last June, said screw this, no more waiting, ordered my new 4Runner from my bed the day I got home from the hospital, had it delivered to my door. Had been wanting one for 10 years. Always had a reason not to buy one. Life is short and very fragile, get what you want now and enjoy every moment in a fine and very capable vehicle. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome! I spend several months a year in Canada and love it, perfect place for a 4Runner. You might consider a Gen-5 if you can find one you like...proven "old school" tech and a 20+ year vehicle with basic maintenance. Jury is still deliberating on the new 4 cylinder, twin turbo configuration that's slated for Gen-6....time will tell.
