    i've tried that, but after entering the search. the website usually says it does not fit the vehicle. maybe the 4runner does not have the provisions for a front mount hitch....

    Quite often when looking for parts/accessories for the current model year, you won't find a fitment listed. Usually, particularly with the 4Runner, the previous year i.e. 2023 will be available and it should fit.

    I suggest you call some vendors to find out for sure or someone who specializes in this kind of installation.
