I just took a look online and it says P1135 code for Toyota is

“OBD-II code P1135 represents a general fault in the air/fuel sensor heater circuit for bank 1, sensor 1.”

    see below for full description

Thanks I have that information, but it doesn't seem to be the problem.
That code is for the o2 sensor that's been bad for a while.

    Thanks.

    Is this a California vehicle? What year/model etc? I’m reading that a A 49-state truck won't throw a P1135.

I think 2002 uses an Air/Fuel Sensor and not an O2 sensor, regardless, it's best to call the dealer with the vin and they can tell you for sure.

My rig uses the A/F sensor as I had to have it replaced. It is not a California vehicle as far as I know.

I think A/F sensors are tested differently from O2 sensors.

Regardless, on these, clear the codes and run the car for a while and see if the code comes back. If it is bad, it should come back pretty quick. Otherwise, when I clear this code, it sometimes stays away for a year or more. If the code returns right away, it may be a bad sensor or a bad catalytic converter.
