How much should I ask for?

My immaculate '96 4runner sr5 is in need of a new motor. I found an '04 highlander for less than the new motor would have cost, and am now looking to sell the 4runner. Frame, body, and interior are in phenomenal condition. I know that needing a motor will lessen how much I can expect to reasonably get, but I'm trying not to take too heavy a loss on it. Any suggestions on how much I should be asking so I don't seem like I'm trying to rip ppl off? I was hoping to get in the neighborhood of $3k, since I know the wheels alone are worth close to a grand. I've loved this thing, and don't want to part it out, but I'm worried that will be the only way to get the total sell value. Any help and feedback appreciated!

Should be a quick sell for someone looking for a nice frame.

 

That's what I'm hoping for. It's been a fantastic vehicle for me as well as for the family I bought it from. I'd love to see it keep rolling.
