Removing the Gauge Cluster Speaker / Chime?

    Has anyone attempted to remove or disconnect the noise maker burried in the driverside dash?

    If I put the car in Neutral w/ the door open, it will literally harass me until I quit trying to use the vehicle. My only concern would be that the signal light click is also driven from this source, which I do need.

    If you have newer truck buzzer might be turned off in settings menu which is on center screen (navigation/multimedia). It's in the manual:
