Newbie in Alexandria VA

picked up my first 4Runner after 2 decades of Grand Cherokees. i am smitten for sure. wish i could have gotten a better interest rate (or afforded to pay for it outright - worst time in history to finance), and still not sure whether i should have asked for a better price (does anyone leave the car dealer feeling victorious), but i can't stop looking at it. lol.

as much as i love the tone of the TRD Pro exhaust, it is ear shatteringly loud. first order of business is to mitigate the cabin noise, which is already pretty loud (compared to JGC) even with the normal exhaust. anyone invest in soundproofing layers in doors or floors?

swore i'd never get another black car, but in the sun, the Midnight Black Metallic paint is spectacular. i read many reviews about how MBM shows every scratch, develops multiple swirls, and even has water spots if not dried correctly. considering paint correction and ceramic. not thrilled about the expense but need to try something. if you have this color, what have you done to protect or improve finish?

OEM tires. plan to replace with Falken Wildpeaks but need to hold off on that for a bit.
