ResistAll NG2 Appearance Package (warranty)

The dealer is offering this at “employee pricing” ($458) for 7 years.

There’s not much info available on the Cal-Tex website or YouTube…and the only thing from the dealer says “Paint Protection, Fabric Protection, and Leather/Vinyl Protection” - no fine print or additional details/expectations/etc. The dealer said to go to the “Cal-Tex” website.

Is anyone familiar with this warranty and if it’s worth it?

(This would be on a ‘24 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium)

 

To answer the question "Is it worth it?" you have to ask yourself a few questions:

1) Do you have pets/children that will be riding in your vehicle for extended lengths of time?
2) Do you plan on parking your vehicle outdoors?

The price seems good for what they offer; but read their website very carefully. I did and I couldn't find any clauses about filing warranty claims. If I was going to beat up the interior of my vehicle or park it in the hot desert sun; then I would get it. But don't get it thinking they'll repaint your entire truck or replace all the seats & carpets. I doubt that's what this is. I think it's just a protective coating to help PROLONG the life of the interior and exterior.

Hell, washing/waxing your truck and regularly vacuuming and conditioning the leather (yes, I know it's not real leather), will give you the same effect.

The dealership might be trying to sell you something that you don't need. They're scum-baggy like that. But they're extra scum-baggy to women.
