Nothing rides like Kings, Ive tried Icons before and have ridden in a 4runner with Toytec Boss.

Is there a way I can buy a full king suspension system for a 3rd gen? I’ve spent some time looking but no dice

Contact Matt at MCM Fab he will set you up.http://stores.mcmfablv.com/96-04-tacoma-96-02-4-runner-ads-2-5-oem-coilovers/
I run ADS in my tundra and my wife's 4runner. ADS is on par with King if not better in my opinion. Also ran ADS on my Tacoma.

Here’s another question for you guys responding: if I switch to long travel do I have to buy new axles?

Yes, new tierods as well. LT kits don't include a lot of other things you will need to upgrade to make it work properly. I have Icon's in my Tacoma and they work just fine, Kings are so many level's above toytec they can't really be compared to each other.
