Not Forester, but I've been an Outback owner since 1997 (and I still am). I like them both, but I like the 4R quite a bit more.

Came from a different crossover. What you lose in fuel economy, packaging efficiency and handling you gain in more margin for error, capability on the trail, bulletproof if older mechanics. But you gotta want those things.

Are you looking for one of these threads to talk you into buying one?

No I already went from a 2021 forester to a new 2023 runner in November happy with my decision just curious if anyone else made the same move.

I moved from a 2018 Forester to my 2021 TRD OR and am very happy with the change. The Forester was a very good vehicle but lacking in the capabilities that the 4Runner brings to the table….

    Cheers,
    Bob

It's a TRD Pro clone minus TRD exhaust and Fox suspension.
Not a Forrester, but a 2017 RAV4. I bought the RAV4 as a reliable daily to replace a 2006 Matrix AWD I drove the wheels off. I drive a lot, so the RAV is up there in miles at this point. I could probably get another 2 or 3 trouble free years out of it, but I decided to trade it in while it's still worth at 5 figures (barely).
