Recently purchased a 40K mile Toyota certified 2018 OR. Dealer notes included rotor turning and full pad replacement. Never liked the brakes; basically had to stand on them, and then it was all or nothing. Impossible to modulate. Pulled the wheels and had a look. Of course the dealer lied; front pads were original and about 1/3rd worn but backs basically unworn.
Replaced the front pads with Powerstop Z36 ceramic. What a difference. Now stops normally with reduced effort and excellent modulation.
Super easy job but a couple tips. Buy this to spread the caliper pistons.

And remember when you install the anti-rattle clip, the little tabs on the clip must be pushed up and over the edge of the pads. Finally make sure to bed per Powerstop instructions.

Sucks that dealers are such scum and lie about everything.
