    Price aside, is it worth the effort to get to 4.10? 4.56 is more common and 4.88 is the correct number :rolleyes:

    So $2,800 for labor?

    That seems a bit on the steep side to me.

    MPG? About 12.5 to 13ish on the Hwy. About 10 off road. So yes, you must pay to play :spending:

    I have a friend who just used shipping for his core and they shipped to him. And now they are offering free shipping on orders over $500. I'm guessing you may have to pay to ship youre core to them with a weight of 65lbs.

    That makes sense considering most would be upgrading to 4.56 or 4.88.

    Op...Since you can't have mixed matched gears. You best bet is 4.56. Then if you decided 35s down the road you'd be geared perfectly.

    I'd love for them to offer 4.10s since I'm only on 33s with no plans to go larger.

    Going rate in my area is around $4700 no e locker. Ecgs prebuild rear 3rd might save a few hundred. Not a single shop i know of recommends a front locker. The few people i know with them have had catastrophic failures on the trails

    I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I've been in contact with Rears N Gears, a place sorta near you OP. Might be worth a call and see what they'd charge.

    They said doing a 4Runner is no sweat and they've done the swaps before.

    Funny side note, the mechanic said he wouldn't do 4.10 as he said it wouldn't be noticeably beneficial.
