Nothing crazy (the lift not the wife LOL), more of a leveler kit from maxtrac, 2.5 in the front and 1.25 in the rear. Looking at a 3” OME full lift or ICON later this year when i can get my ‘53s engine replacement done and get my garage space back haha.

 

I didn't take any pics directly from the side, the 275/55s are fairly close to having the same overall diameter as the OEM 245/60s (31.91" versus 31.57"). They're noticeably wider though (10.83" versus 9.65").

tbf, the interior noise of the JL/JT is still not great and no sound system will sound that wonderful.

Finally threw on the squadrons I got for my Rubicon rear bumper last year before I traded it in to fit the kiddos (2dr). Swapped the lenses out for the combo pattern. They’re not the LP6 duo I had before, but they’ll do for now until I figure out what to do to light the country roads up.



Next up is getting some UCAs to install with the Westcott perch kit so the 33s the previous owner installed quit rubbing at full lock / minor flex.

 

The JBL sound levels are in metric. Once you convert, it comes out to 30.

 

I could never get a sound system to sound right in my Rubi or any other jeep i owned. No matter the quality or power i put thru it.

i cannot wait to upgrade the sound system in my ORP. Not bad but i want better for sure!

Told her 3 weeks ago let’s get a pair of 4R TRD ORP and was ready to drop the checkbook on it but she shied away from my offer. Oh well for now! They had 3 on the lot too but at least i got mine…um ours or whatever i should say!

 

Absolutely! We are a Toyota driveway now finally! She had a ford explorer before and I hated that thing. She loves her 4R and wishes she’d of done it sooner.

 

My fiancé has a Lincoln Corsair and she loves driving the 4R. The only thing I’ve heard her mention missing is lane centering, which her Corsair has.

If Toyota puts it in the new 4R or LC (I haven’t seen press on LC packages, maybe it’s been announced), I can get her in a Toyota.

 

Lane centering? Do you mean when you cross lines on road, center or shoulder?? My 2023 TRD PRO has it. I can turn it on or off.

 

I think he means when the car will turn the wheel for you, not just give you the warning.

I went for a winter ride

 

I ordered a 98 Explorer Sport, kept it till 80+k miles on it, never had an issue W/it.

 

@LCJ77 okay maybe I don't mean literally every single explorer, but heck you had it only till 80k so somewhat still true. I find the newer ones are even worse, my mother in law's was horrific

 

I trade all my vehicles between 75-90k,my 2018 TRD OR had 63k when I traded it last Nov. I did keep my 93 Mustang GT to 115k that I traded for the Explorer.

Does the 24 have steering assist as well or is it a mistake from Toyota on their website?

 

I'm pretty sure it does. All the auto makers are putting the "Nannies" on cars now. But, you can manually turn off (most of them, not all), permanently. I have the Steering Assist turned off on my SloRunner.

 

Interesting. I don’t believe MY22 and earlier has steering assist. Only the visual/audio warning

 

Removed everything from the top

 

Changed intake tube to HPS silicone tube. And fabricated another cup holder for the center console.
