Anyone have a recommendation for a windshield protection film? My runner is one year old and has three repairs from rocks. Looking to get a film but have no idea what’s recommended. Last night in the Florida Everglades we had a bird hit the windshield and now it needs to be replaced. I doubt a film would help with that but looking for something to protect against rocks. Thank you and happy new year

Im interested in this too. A semi kick a rock into my 23's ORP and now I get to spend a grand for a new windshield.

There is a product called EXOSheild Ultra, that Id be interested in. However I only see kits available for Jeeps and Bronco's....boooo.

    Here is their website/ https://shop.getexoshield.com/

My recommendation would be to add glass coverage and a super-low deductible to your comprehensive insurance. The windshield protection films will protect from minor rock chips and pitting but will succumb to larger rocks or birds.

Having spent most of it's life in CO where the roads are sanded and/or scoria, my windshield has been replaced more times than I care to count. After #2, I went with the glass coverage. Totally worth it. Stupid expensive without.

When you say glass coverage, is that through your insurance?

Yes. Some insurance companies don't cover glass replacement. I went with Allstate because they do.

Just an update. Was able to get the windshield replaced under comprehensive. $250. First though I’m driving back to Chicago from Florida because I know my luck and i would get a rock on the road trip home

I 100% agree with you. Thank you for caring. I was also recently in a minor accident in my other car, and the people from Allstate made claims and repairs about as painless as possible. Again, thanks!

Just got a quote for exoshield on my 22

$700 installed for an additional 200 you can get a warranty that pays up to 1000 for replacement of the windshield

I wasn’t looking to spend that much

After I purchased my runner last year, I called shops around the area asking for the same. No one had, nor could recommend a product in the Loveland or Fort Collins area. Most of them thought I was stupid for even inquiring about it....

I watched some videos and decided exoshield. But didn’t really want to spend 700
